MIPDOC : الوثائقية تفتح باب الترشح لجائزة التميز

MIPDOC هو المعرض الدولي للبرامج الوثائقية الذي يقام سنويا في مدينة كان الفرنسية. حيث يلتقي المتخصصون والمهتمون بهذه النوعية من الأفلام من شتى أرجاء العالم. إما للعرض أو التسويق أو الشراء. وعلى هامش هذا المعرض تعقد ندوات متخصصة تتناول أهم القضايا التي تتعلق بالوثائقي. كما تقام مسابقة لاختيار وتكريم أحسن فيلم وثائقي من الأفلام التي يتم ترشيحها من مختلف مناطق العالم. ليتحصل على “جائزة التميز  The Trail Blazer “.

وتعتبر الجزيرة الوثائقية الراعي الوحيد لهذه الجائزة في الوطن العربي. لذلك فهي التلفزيون الوحيد المكلف باختيار أفضل فيلم في المنطقة لنيل الجائزة. وتهدف الجزيرة الوثائقية من خلال هذه المساهمة إلى تشجيع إنتاج الأفلام الوثائقية في العالم العربي.
وفي السنة الماضية تم ترشيح فيلم “خمس دقائق من بيتي” للمخرجة الفلسطينية ناهد عواد لنيل الجائزة. وقد رأت الوثائقية في هذا الفيلم شكلا إبداعيا راقيا تطلب جهدا جبارا لتحقيق غاية نبيلة. فقد استطاع هذا الفيلم أن يسلط الضوء على مطار القدس القديم الذي يمثل طمس معالمه طمسا لحرية الفلسطينيين في التنقل والسفر.

MIPDOC is the annual International Exhibition for documentary programs, held in Cannes, France. It is where specialists and people who are interested in this kind of films meet from all over the world. Upon their meeting, they show documentary materials, market or purchase them. During this exhibition, specialized seminars are held on the most important documentaries related issues. As well as, documentaries compete and the best documentary, nominated by different regions of the world, is awarded, gaining the “The Trail Blazer” award of excellence. 
Al-Jazeera documentary channel is the sole sponsor of this award in the Arab world. Thus, it is the sole T.V assigned to choose the best film in the region for the award. Through its contribution, Al-jazeera documentary aims at promoting the production of documentary film making in the Arab world. 

Last year the “five minutes from my home” documentary by the Palestinian director Nahed Awwad has been nominated for the award. The documentary channel has seen a classy creative form of movies where great efforts have been exerted, achieving a very noble goal. 
This film shed the light on the old airport of Jerusalem, where effacing its features stands as obliteration of the Palestinians’ freedom of movement and travel.
